BITS AND PIECES
After The Kiss, by Rodin; The Kiss, by Gustav Klimt; and The Kiss, by Sara Teasdale - a sculpture, a painting and a poem - now it's your turn:
A Kiss
I wish to kiss you in the rain
Just like in a beautiful movie
It's only a dream, always a pain
I loved you so much, but you never knew it. (excerpt)
(by Christophe Santos, 10th Year, Class 14)
The Kiss
The best kiss is the one you wait for
For days, weeks, months or even years
That kiss haunts you every night
You wonder what it will be like, in every detail
You beg for that kiss
Lying in bed you dream about the kiss
And then the dream becomes angry, wanting to wake up.
The best kiss is the one you desire more than anything:
When you close your eyes alone in bed
and imagine your lips touching the lips of your beloved...
That kiss is precious.
(by Mariana Rodrigues, 10th Year, Class 14)
